Passionate and versatile, this Los Angeles based Cinematographer aims to create a powerful cinematic imagery that enhances emotions and honestly tells the story.
Valentina was recently invited to join the Italian Society of Cinematographers, sponsored by colleague Alfredo Betro, AIC and supported by former AIC President and illustrious IMAGO founder Luciano Tovoli, AIC.
Alumna, Cinematography Faculty and Faculty Senate member at the prestigious American Film Institute, Valentina is currently leading the AFI CIW Program (Cinematography Intensive for Women), alongside her supervisor, mentor and colleague Stephen Lighthill, ASC. Other academic experiences include Cinematography Workshops at UC Santa Barbara and University of New Orleans.
Valentina was born and raised in Milan (Italy.) where she obtained her BA in Literature, European History and Philosophy. She holds both American and Italian passports.
